New iPod Shuffle
Well my significant other and I just found out today about the new ipod shuffle. We were pretty amazed as usual with this new addition to the family. We started buying ipods on the second generation of the original ipod. A long time ago, In a galaxy far, far away. Oops wandered a bit there... Anyway We didn't buy a new ipod every time one came out, (only when there was big improvements) but we've now owned the Original, the Classic, the Touch and 2 of the clip on Shuffles. One in silver (my husbands) and mine a metallic electric blue.
So the question arises between us do we buy another one? We both kinda want it, but don't want to say. $79.00 not a bad price. The size I have to admit I am a bit worried about loosing it, but it's cute! The one thing we notice is it doesn't work with out an adapter if you want to use third party head phones. Right know Dan's shuffle is hooked up to a pair of ear muffs to listen to music and podcasts. It's been 24 below zero lately and cold as hell, so it pays to keep the ears warm.
We use to have Sirius in the feed pickup for about 3 years and usually enjoyed it. Then we decided we were getting tired of it and they kept deleting our favorite channels. We had set up the account to NOT auto renew and decided to use our year up. Well when the time came for it to cancel it auto renewed. Noticing the credit card charges, I called them and told them they screwed up. They were non apologetic and would not give us a refund for the difference (which was about $13.00), even after I talked to a manager, so needless to say I turned them into the the credit card company for fraud. I'd had enough with them and will not be using there service ever again. So back to iPods...
As Dan is scrolling down the page he notices it looks like Apple isn't offering the clip on shuffle any more. I have been holding my self back from buying one or 2 more of the new colors. I keep trying to justify it somehow and it hasn't worked until now. I tell Dan we really need to get 2 more in a hurry so Sophia (our 9 month old daughter) has a relic in 5 years (and in case of our breaks). He looks at me knowing what I am up to and says,"Honey in 5 years these things will be reading her mind and finding out what she wants it to play." So I am assuming it's a no go?
Well I am not sure if we are going to get one. Probably someday in the distant future. Right know Dan's drooling over the new Mac Mini.
